Neva Rowland (she/they) is a multi-faceted creator whose work blends spirituality and art. They work as a state-employed civil servant to pay the bills and feed their art supply and tarot collection addiction.
Maria (she/her) is a mother to two adorable gremlins. One who is nonbinary and one who is neurodivergent. She has a long term partner. Maria has been a public school educator for nearly 20 years, focusing her attention on inner city schools and diversity education. She has been a practicing witch for most of her life, starting with Italian folklore witchcraft as a child and growing into traditions of her own. She loves Moon and High Holiday Rituals (Especially Beltane), Simmer pots, Tarot Pulls, and candle and herb magic and plants!

Episode 5: Is Christianity just Fanfiction?
Neva and Maria discuss the beginnings of Christianity, the "snakes" that St. Patrick drove out of Ireland (read: Genocide of Pagan Culture) and how Easter and Christmas just happen to coincide with the Spring Equinox and Winter Solstice and what they represent and the ideology that carried over from Pagan Traditions.
Disclaimer: We respect all religions, we just want to be transparent about where some myths, rituals, traditions, and ideas come from.
Also, turns out Christianity IS the leading religion in the world, inching out Islam by half a billion-ish.
I'm sure we've got some other sources to cover but if anybody has sources for any other info, either for or against what we've covered, we're open to attaching them here to provide some unbiased info for everyone!
